This is definitely a step in the right direction, but much more needs to be done, e.g. in education [getting kids interested in bicycling via bike-to-school programmes etc.] and in improving and enlarging – enlarging a lot, i.e. – SA’s number of bicycle lanes; and, last but not least, pass better laws for the protection of bicyclists.
Talking about education: I really do believe that it is pre-school and early [elementary] school time where everything should start. Not only that it would help fight obesity and all obesity-related illnesses, it would also, to my mind, create a better/friendlier attitude towards bicyclists in later drivers.

I' d really love to hear from y'alls!
